Hi Greg. I don't know much about the poetry market. I know it's a very small market, as you said, so don't expect to make a lot of money. I imagine you would need some kind of hook to get noticed. Of the collections I've seen, they are usually by a person with a compelling personal story or struggle and their poetry reflects that. It's the same with memiors. A lot of people want to write them, but unless the story is unique, compelling or about someone famous, they probably won't go anywhere. Just expand your horizons and write full books.
